It appears the C Series is only using usb 2.0 tech. WHY?????? I'm still thinking Thunder Bolt is the way to go especially if one needs to expand the number of inputs/outputs in their studio. Hi... I just installed Studio One and have my PreSonus StudioLive RML series mixer hooked up to the desktop pc with the Firewire 800 cable. Studio One shows the "Audio Device" as "Firewire Studio". I see other PreSonus devices, but not RML, so I'm guessing this is the correct choice for Studio One.. but I want to be sure... cause it seems like software should show the correct sound device..|So, is it correct for Studio One to list my brand new StudioLive RML Mixer as "Firewire Studio"?or should something else be adjusted?Thanks so much..patrick...

Okay...back and forth with presonus techless support, telling me to do the same thing over and over. Send them a system file from my Mac and make sure I have the latest driver. Keeping this in mind, I'll keep this simple1. Every 2-3 minutes the Quantum loses its coection to either of my computers.2. After 20-30 minutes the **** thing goes solid red and sometimes even a reboot of one of my computers doesn't fix it, nor a reboot of the quantum or both or any combination.3. Hello! All help is appreciated! Amonth of off and on attempts to get this going. I launch EZ Drummer stand alone and the drums *immediately* begin working. Fantastic. Check. I open the Studio One 3, click Options -> Exteal Devices -> Add. I select New Instrument, pick the MIDI device that my drums are routed through. So far so good. This matches up with others I've seen doing the same thing. I then click File -> New Song -> Empty Song. I then drag over the EZ Drummer VST as a new instrument track and attempt to set the MIDI input. This is where it goes wrong. When using an "Instrument" as an "Exteal Device", I get no Input as expected. Therefor MIDI is not routed through to the ...

So, I asked about it first in the Forum, then advise to do a Ticket, that has come back to post in here. I only use the Quantum for Synthesizers and 2 ADA8200 8 Chael Pre-Amps over ADAT. All the inputs are Stereo Pairs, so in Logic Pro X they go Stereo Pair chaels 1-2, 3-4, 5-6.........23-24, 25-26 but when I get to wanting to create the next Pair with using an aggregate device, it is offset by 1, because Input 27 is the "TalkBack" chael. With an Aggregate Device set up, it should continue as a Stereo pair 29-30, 31-32 and so on, but the TalkBack chael stops that. Since I upgraded to Windows 10 and Studio One 3.5 I no longer have the option to change device block size or sample rate.from the Audio Device page in Options. Then when I change it in Apollo Console 2 as soon as I go back to Studio One it reverts back to what it was previously. I used to be able to change that no problem. Hi there!I know that with Presonus interfaces, there is a picture of the interface on startup. I'm using a Focusrite interface and I have no picture? Does this only work with Presonus products? Cause I see some people at least having a simple black and white unknown asio picture whereas I don't.For the Focusrite Driver, I'm still using their 2.5 drivers cause the beta driver is a bit buggy for me and I'm using Studio One 3.5.0 on Windows 10 64-bit....

I'm very new to DAWs in general and am trying to set up PreSonus Studio 1 free (as well as Sonar LE which came with a FX pedal).I've been able to identify all Recording and Playback devices by trial and error in my PC settings. I now ONLY have my Wharfedale 1202FX USB mixer showing/registering within the DAW and PC. I then tued the volume right down on the mixer so I can hear nothing in my headphones.I am still getting the recording meter for a track bouncing up and down and I can't think what could be causing this with all recording devices off.
