I have bought quantum ,xps15 9560 and a TB16 thunderbolt dock. The TB16 have an extra tb3 outport and I have test it by another tb3 dock,and it's work. I connected the interface to pc via an apple adapter direct plug in the pc and it's work.but when I plug the interface to the tb16, I can't see the interface in system.should I change the adapter to a official recomend model? or the interface is just can not work through a dock?, ...ادامه مطلب

I'm looking at the Studio Live 3 16 Mixer and the recent added ability to control Studio One V3.  But, a thought occurred to me, is the Studio Live Mixer a high end fader port 16?  What I mean by that, Can the mixer control everything in studio one that the FP8 can control while also being an audio interface, onboard board track recording, and OTB mixing abilities?  Also, what can it not control that the FP8 can control and vice versa?, ...ادامه مطلب

I have read that control surfaces using Mackie protocol can only use 8 faders for volume.To access the faders on the second bank or more in the DAW you always need to use a shift key and use the same 1 to 8 faders on the hardware. Therefore the 9 to 16 faders are redundant with respect to track volume.They can be assigned for send Etc but you cannot in effect use all 16 faders to control track volumes 1 to 16 at the same time. Can anyone confirm this as I am wanting to purchase the 16 faders version but if they are not fully working on 16 channels at once it seems pointless to pay the extra.I am initially wanting to use with Cubase 9.5Regards Russ, ...ادامه مطلب

I already own a CS18ai an RM32ai and an RM16ai which I cascade using a MOTU AVB and have run quite successfully at a number of gigs recently.All units are running the latest firmware.I now have the opportunity to buy a second pre owned CS18ai at a very good price from a friend who is moving across to a new 32R, my plan being to position it to the side of the stage and use it as a monitor mix control surface, rather than using a MacBook Pro as I do currently, and to continue to use the other CS18ai as the FOH control surface . I'm wondering if there are any known issues with having a second CS18ai on the network, will there be contention over which of the units provides the audio feed for the talkback and line inputs will I be able to designate which RM unit is the master from either CS18 or from UC Surface without any problems? The manual for FaderPort 16 states "Footswitch input for hands-free start/stop" but doesn't mention punch in.I have FaderPort  and  the manual states "footswitch jack for hands free punch in/out" and the "Punch button" on the front unit "PUNCH This button is assigned to tu Punch mode on or off in your DAW. To manually punch in/out, simply press the RECORD button while the DAW is playing. For hands free operation, a footswitch can also be used."It appears FaderPort 8 or 16 does NOT allow hands free punch in/out, so before I purchase one I would like to know.Another work around would be if I can use my Faderport for punch in/out and use Faderport 16 for the other functions.', ...ادامه مطلب

Using studio one. I just bought a windows 10 laptop. Using stock audio realtek drivers playback is fine at 16bit but, when I change playback to 24bit all sounds mute. Hi, I have a StudioLive AR16 USB.  My mixer has been working while since purchase.Yesterday, I modified the hardware with my desktop.  Afterwards, the usb cables were attached to different usb ports.Now windows shows (in device manager) a StudioLive entry, but a 2nd entry that indicates an issue with the driver.Attempting to update the drivers in anyway doesn't work.Any troubleshooting advice?thanks,Chriswindows 10 pro 64-bitpresonus studio live ar16 usb, ...ادامه مطلب
