Faderport 8 - 16 vs Studio Live V3

I'm looking at the Studio Live 3 16 Mixer and the recent added ability to control Studio One V3.  But, a thought occurred to me, is the Studio Live Mixer a high end fader port 16?  What I mean by that, Can the mixer control everything in studio one that the FP8 can control while also being an audio interface, onboard board track recording, and OTB mixing abilities?  Also, what can it not control that the FP8 can control and vice versa?
