Presonus StudioLive 24.4.2 - Are the "Pre-Insert Balanced Direct Outputs" controlled by input trim?

I'm wanting to use my 24.4.2 StudioLive as a monitor board for regional shows.  I'm looking for alteatives to using a split-snake with two fan-tails.  If the direct-outs can be used instead of a split then the xlr's from the stage could go direct into my 24.4.2 and the direct outs could go back to the snake on stage which goes to FOH.  If the input trim knobs affect the signal that will be a problem for FOH.
