Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and her grandson Prince William visited the Grenfell Tower Disaster survivors. They described the incident as a terrific thing they have never seen as they consoled the survivors at Westway Sports Centre in West London.

The Queen and her grandson Prince William were met with applause when they dropped into an emergency shelter in West London this morning to meet the devastated survivors of the Grenfell Tower disaster.

Her Majesty The Queen, was accompanied by HRH The Duke of Cambridge, as they visited the Westway Sports Centre in White City – a venue that has been a focal point for efforts to support those affected by the deadly inferno inside the high rise.

The royal visitors met volunteers, local residents, and community representatives while visiting the shelter, which is in the shadow of the charred remains of the building in west London.

However, the death toll in the Grenfell Tower disaster has been confirmed to be 30 but is expected to soar significantly, police have said, as anger mounts over a litany of failings that led to the disaster.

As Theresa May stands accused of failing to show “humanity” during a visit to the blaze site, emergency services are picking through the west London block’s charred remains in search of bodies for a third day.

When Prime Minister Theresa May visited Westway yesterday, she stayed for 15 minutes and did not talk to residents, prompting widespread criticism and anger. This unprecedented act of Mrs. May led to her accusations.

Conversely, the Queen and Prince William were applauded when they arrived at 11 am today and spent 45 minutes at the center, with her Majesty at one point looking close to tears as she spoke to people affected by the blaze.

So far, whole families were said to be among those who remain unaccounted for since the blaze, which police fear was so devastating that some victims might never be identified. More than 70 people have been named by relatives as missing.

Thirty people are now confirmed to have died, but it is feared the figure could rise above 100. Twenty-four people remain in hospital, 12 of them in critical care.

The Prime Minister has ordered a full public inquiry into the disaster in response to mounting anger that a series of loopholes had left the inhabitants vulnerable – despite repeated warnings over the last 30 years.

But Mrs. May has been accused by former cabinet minister Michael Portillo of failing to show “humanity” during her visit to the scene by refusing to meet survivors as she wanted a “controlled situation” by only meeting rescue crews.

Around 123,000 people have now signed a petition demanding government action on fire safety in tower blocks.

According to findings, It has emerged that there have been no updates to Britain’s building fire safety regulations for more than a decade, even though a number of fires abroad suggested they are out of date.

Campaign organization 38 Degrees launched the petition calling for improved fire safety regulations in the wake of the Grenfell Tower disaster.

Around 2,700 people have now said they are attending a rally in three hours to demand “justice” for those caught up in the fire.

After a string of politicians have been heckled by angry locals demanding answers, there are fears that tensions could boil over at the event.

A Facebook event, Justice for Grenfell!, has been listed as taking place at 6 pm outside the Department for Communities and Local Government.

The authorities are said to be doing all they can to get to the top most floor at the Grenfell Tower even as we hope that more bodies could be recovered. We sympathize with all those who have lost their loved ones, families, and friends to the unfortunate Grenfell Tower Disaster.
