Transpose instrument track not Event

What happened to being able to Transpose the instrument (VST) Track? Not the Event. Some good VST Synths don't let you set the root note (in any kind of quick way) Why was this changed? Also, this makes it Harder to use ATOM. This causes great conces about future usage of studio one. Anyone know whats going on?
