UC will not allow me to alter EQ on Cascaded Ai32 x2

I caot alter the EQ from UC on my mac on any of the two cascaded 32Ai mixers i have.

See pic its all greyed out and mouse will not allow any altering of the chael parameters EQ, compressor, gate , limit etc etc

When you physically change chael parameters EQ, compressor, gate , limit etc etc on the desk youcan see it moving on the UC GUI.
