AudioBox iTwo lights flashing when computer turned off

A couple of days ago I discoected my AudioBox iTwo from my computer and coected it back. Then all of a sudden the power light started to blink and all the other lights too. (The power light blinks 8 times and then all the other lights blink once.)

My computer is not in sleep mode or anything. It's tued off but the lights are still blinking. When I tu the computer on it starts working normally. It works just fine but the lights just blink when my computer is off.

Is this normal? It has never happened before? Is the unit damaged?

If it matters, I'm using a HP EliteBook 2560p laptop with Windows 7 64-bit. I have the AudioBox coected straight to my computer and not into my USB hub.
