Is it possible to coect/pair the AR12 BlueTooth Chael with BlueTooth Transmitter without display?

I have a Bluetooth transmitter that I'm able to successfully coect/pair with other Bluetooth devices (i.e. speakers, headphones), but I'm unable to pair the AR12 Bluetooth chael with the transmitter because the AR12 seems to be waiting on me to select it in the transmitters interface (as you would do when pairing with a cell phone). Is there a way around this so that the two devices can be paired automatically when in search mode?
