Suicidal Murderers: Two Stories Of Different Men Who Killed Their Lovers Before Turning On Themselves

The first story of the suicidal murderers comes from Nakuru County where a police officer is alleged to have shot his girlfriend before taking his life.

The officer, Stephen Mungai Kinuthia of Molo Police Station, is said to have shot his girlfriend three times on Tuesday evening following an argument.

He soon afterward turned on himself taking his life with the same AK47 rifle at their rental house in Freehold Area.

A neighbor said they heard a child shouting “baba anaua mama!” [father is killing mother] before gunshots were heard.

“I was with the caretaker when we heard a man fighting with the wife and the man was striking her with canes, and as we were going to help, we heard gunshots and stayed put,” the man said.

The woman, whose name was not revealed, was said to have only lived in the apartment for two weeks. Her police officer boyfriend was, however, a frequent visitor.

Nakuru OCPD, Joshua Omukatta, said the police have started a probe to establish what transpired leading to the killing. The bodies of the two people have meanwhile been taken to Nakuru County government mortuary.

In the second suicidal murderers story, a middle-aged man in Isiolo Town is alleged to have stabbed his female companion to death at a nightclub before turning on himself.

According to eyewitnesses, the lady is said to have spent the evening with the man at the club as both were seen enjoying each other’s company.

The club’s security guard, Somee Lokiran, told reporters that an argument later ensued between the pair, prompting the man to draw a dagger and attack the woman.

He stabbed her several times and also attacked a barmaid who tried to rescue the woman. The barmaid sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital.

The attacker, later on, stabbed himself several times in a seeming suicide attempt. He was bleeding profusely as he was also rushed to a hospital.

Residents have called for the club to be closed due to the recklessness of their security to let a customer enter the place with a weapon.
