CS18ai Fat Chael in DAW mode?

When using the CS18ai in DAW mode with Studio One and WITHOUT an RM mixer, if you open the FX on a selected chael and select the native fat chael from Studio One, do all of the knobs and buttons activate on a one-to-one basis along the top of the CS18ai like they would if you were opening the fat chael of an RM mixer? Meaning do the controls for the native plug-in match what is physically printed on the face of the CS18ai, or are they arranged differently and you have to look in the labels in the scribble strip window to see what they are assigned to?
