Why Universal Control 2.4 opens Windows Firewall wide open?!

I noticed after installing PreSonus_Universal_Control_Installer-44938.exe, the following entries are added to Windows Firewall automatically:

I get the entry for "Universal Control", even tough I don't like it being added without asking, but what is "P" that potentially opens up any program on C drive to any remote address??!
