See Photos Of Prophet Owuor’s Followers Celebrating Pokot Woman’s Resurrection

Prophet Owuor’s followers on Sunday afternoon took to the streets of Nakuru town to celebrate the alleged resurrection of a woman in Pokot County.

A thanksgiving service was already held on Friday at the hometown of the resurrected woman identified as Mama Rosa.

However, Prophet Owuor’s followers were not done celebrating as they came out in their numbers on Sunday afternoon to continue where they had left off, this time at Nakuru where Prophet Owuor’s Ministry of Repentance and Holiness church is headquartered.

Members of the church from West Pokot and Baringo also joined in the celebrations.

Prophet Owuor’s followers marched the streets as they danced and chanted praises to their leader and God.

Many were heard chorusing; “Yehovah amefufua Mama Rosa…Sio kuchanganyikiwa, ni Mungu.”

Others carried copies of local newspapers that published the story of the resurrected woman, while many others waved tree branches in the air as they marched on.

Boda boda riders gladly monetized from the celebrations as they transported the old, who opted to go on despite fatigue from walking long distances.

According to reports, the miracle took place in Cheparten village, South Pokot sub-county.

As the story goes, Mama Rosa Rotirakori died on Thursday night following a brief illness which started on Wednesday.

Her husband identified as Samson Rotirakori called Prophet Owuor to pray for his dying wife. However, her health further waned after the prayers, before she gave up the ghost.

Her husband received a text message from Prophet Owuor, saying “It is well,” and two hours later, his wife Rosa sneezed back to life.

The news quickly spread as many believers of the Prophet made their way to the woman’s village to witness the miracle.

At the thanksgiving service held on Friday without Prophet Owuor in attendance, a joyous Mama Rosa said;

“I was to be buried today but I thank my prophet for bringing me back to life. I did not speak Kiswahili but after resurrecting, I can now address the media in Kiswahili.”

Prophet Owuor’s followers are almost as popular as himself. Last year, they made the news when they took to streets with buckets, detergents and brooms to clean the road in preparation for the Prophet’s arrival to conduct a crusade in the city of Nakuru.
