Can we get more flexibility/control in the routing and assigning of chaels?

Can we get more flexibility in the routing of chaels? My specific issue centers around using a vocoder: I can't. I have the Sonivox Vocalizer Pro and there is no way to run it in Studio One because of the way tracks are set up and routed, whereas I can run the plugin in a program like Reaper where the track assignments and routing options are considerably more flexible and powerful.
