Possible to have Plugins Turning on/off within a Notion score

I'm composing some music for solo contra-bassoon that will be mic'd with effects pedals. The contra-bassoonist will be tuing the pedals on and off during the performance, and I have plug ins that can emulate these effect in NOTION, but I can't figure out a way to have the effects tu on and off at the right times during play back in Notion.

Does anyone know if this is possible? And if so, how?
