How to use a built-in microphone to record audio (Windows 10, Realtek)

I'm trying to use my friend's computer (Acer Aspire E-14, with built-in mic) to record with Studio One 3. We are not close to the studio at the moment. I keep getting the error message

"failed to open Microphone (Realtek High Definition Audio)!

Please make sure that the sample rates of your recording and playback devices match"

I already clicked on "Manage audio devices" and change the playback sample rate to that of the recording device. It's still not working
