SD Ram Self Test Failed

When I start up my Studiolive 16.0.2 the screen says "SD RAM Self Test Failed" but everything else seems to be working fine. This was the first time that I started it up while not coected to my computer. Does it maybe just need a firmware update?

Also, if I sell it will the person who bought it be able to register it as their own if I deregister it?
