My RC500 Preamp got something wrong. Sound like a little bit overdrive

Hi presonus I love your kindness and service.

I love to use presonus equipment.

i got RC500. i bought it by used.

When I recording with RC500, It sound like weak overdrive. Specially Mic preamp

All the Recording source are same.

Q1. Originally RC500 sound type has a little bit overdrive sound?

or

Q2. If it has broken sound How can i repair it?

If using excessive gain many times will occurs mic preamp problems?
