universal control not working no sliders are showing up and I caot control my headphones anymore

I recently updated my computer (apple) un installed logic and resinstalled the latest update and deleted all of my programs from this computer.. I tried to get the original Audiobox (blue person application) back like I had before. I use to click that and the sliders would show up and I could adjust my monitor volume as well as my headphone volumes. now all I have is this universal control that shows up and does not let me do anything with the presonus 1818vsl I caot turn my headphones up or hear them at all. I have the phones knob on the actual presonus1818vsl at 50% but nothing will come out of my headphones. I know it is because that app is not ruing. I caot re download the legacy app that I once had because it will not be compatible with all of the new updates I just did on my computer. please help! I need to record and I caot do anything without my headphones.

ps: I have clicked everything there is to click on universal control to try and get it to cooperate with my presonus 1818vsl and my logic like once before but nothing happens
