Default to make Track Markers scale to selection automatically in Project

I know how to reset the Track Markers and Pause once I resize a selection in the Project window, but is there a way to set a preference to do that automatically? While I understand the desire to have the option to edit these independently, most of the time it simply makes what was a once 'no step' process a minimal three step process.
