Downloaded and installed expansion sounds, there is still no sound

I downloaded all of my expansion sounds and double clicked them and even dragged them into notion, and there is still no sound. I also tried selecting all of them in Macintosh HD but there isn't any sound. The fuy thing is the bundled sounds work. If there is something I'm missing please let me know. Much appreciated!
