External Devices: Allow Instruments to Also Be Controllers and Vice Versa

Please allow Exteal [MIDI] Devices to function as both Control Surfaces and Instruments at the same time. For instance, I have a Roland System 8 hardware synthesizer that I use as a Control Surface for VST plugins, but there are also times where I'm going to use it as an exteal instrument. Currently, I'm creating two devices for this in S1, 1) Control Surface device, and another 2) for the Instrument output. The differentiation feels uecessary, as they're both just devices that can send and receive MIDI data. I should just be able to have one Exteal Device that covers both aspects of this functionality.
