Audio Box with Microphone isn't showing up as an option for Garage Band output/input

Hi I have a 2010 Mac Book air that works fine. I run garage band on it and use to use the audiobox with my microphone to record but now it seems that garage band won't acknowledge the audiotex as an option for input and output.

All the lights are on, on the audiobox after I plugged it into my computer but yet its not showing up as an option and no sound is being transferred from the microphone. The only input that Im hearing from my headphones is from my computer.
