How can I rollback SL remote (now functions greyed out) on my iPad?

Sadly, without thinking I allowed the recent (8/4/17) update of SL Remote on my iPad.

Now all functions are greyed out.

I caot update the SL or UC as I can't lose the zero-latency tools and such. I do not have a backup of the older app for my iPad.

Is there anything I can do to retu functionality?
