alternative media clients plaed, e.g. for heathis.at?

Since the future of soundcloud ist still at stake, are there plans to include alteative media clients for other platforms, or even a plugin interface like in Adobe Lightroom, where you can do your own clients for your favourite photo sharing platform?

I would highly appreciate that. Anyone elese?
