AudioBox 1818VSL like a 8 Chael ADAT interface

How I can do in order to use my AudioBox 1818VSL like a 8 Chael ADAT interface alone (without VSL or any Software at all) with light pipe in a DAW different to Studio One?....I have tried to transmit the 8 Chaels by ADAT output to my DAW but I don't receive any signal from any AudioBox 1818VSL Chael!!.

I will appreciate any help, because I brought this device for add more chaels to my recording system and I have not having successful at all!
